A patented production process for graphene oxide

What we own

Allkemie’s advantage is a production process it controls and the ability to tune the material for each application. The synthesis method is patented and granted, and protection is being extended to additional territories.

GODA, the diesel formulation, is at provisional stage. We describe it as patent pending.

Characterization

Raman spectroscopy is our working characterization method. It shows how oxidized the sheets are and how consistent a batch is. We report it as an observation about the batch; it says nothing specific about morphology in a customer’s product.

Computational screening

An internal pipeline combines language models with JARVIS and Materials Project data to screen applications before synthesis, so lab time goes only to candidates that pass the screen.

Facilities

Synthesis and characterization run with access to Harvard CNS and UMass Amherst facilities.

From batch to production line

The same process makes evaluation samples and production batches, so a formulation that works on a bench can move to a line without being redeveloped.
